90-100k base (referencing senior associate level) I would assume, really depends on a lot of factors such as past experience , education etc..
I would say £55,000 base plus bonus.
Really? That seems insanely low for senior associate level
Well it depends on a range of factors as mentioned above but the people I know with circa 5 years RE experience who did their APC and then transitioned to an asset management role are on about £55k plus bonus.
Ahhh ok, that makes sense actually. Presumably that’s decent comp for ex-surveyors too? Out of curiosity, would the AM gigs they get be in more private equity-esque funds or more vanilla/core funds? My understanding is surveyors end up in non-finance heavy roles. Also, idk why you got hit with MS
I wouldn't say a decent comp but it's reasonable considering it's a transition into a new role and they have to pick up some new skills and won't be able to hit the ground running. I'd say on balance they are more vanilla/core funds. Yeah not sure why the MS, guess some people don't like hearing about five figure salaries!
80-120k range, too many factors to consider.
As a data point, recent post for an associate in investments for a private equity fund in London. 3yrs experience , Salary was quoted at - £60,000-£80,000 + 50%-100% Bonus
