Google or BB

Hey guys, I have a nice problem with choosing between Google or a BB for my internship next summer 2021. For Google it is the APMM program and for the BB it's within the consumer banking division. I would be interested in commercial banking or private banking for FT if I intern at the BB. In the long run I plan on getting my MBA and maybe go into VC or product management. Which should I take and why?

Google pros/cons

-Location: Bay Area (where I grew up)

-Good rotational experience within marketing/strategy; potentially a good training ground for product management

-Virtual for summer 2021 and wouldn't have to relocate or pay for housing

-I've lived in the Bay Area my whole life and it would be interesting to go somewhere new

-The pay at the intern level is a lot less compared to the BB

-Amazing brand name

BB pros/cons

-Location: NYC

-Even though the job function is similar, the BB is paying a lot higher (though a fraction of that money will be going to relocation in NY)

-There would be more opportunities to explore other finance-y areas

-It would be easier to go into tech from financial services than the other way around

-Experience within financial services might be better for VC opportunities in the future, though not completely sure how true that is

When I was a little chimp I went through the interview process of a then-unknown search engine. It was a 6 stage process and a final meet & greet in Dublin, Ireland. When they made an offer, I was shocked how little it paid (less than 20K p.a. and no real bonus) even though it was a management trainee job (old name for FLDP).

Left the meeting and waited for the email with documents - when they came in I didn't even reply. Just signed the other BB offer.

Until this day I am asking myself... what if I had signed the other offer?
