Appreciate it. Anything else? This is my first internship.

How can I practice actually doing the work? Like due diligence, creating ppw and so on. Are there any software I should may start getting familiar with? This is my first internship so I am as rookie as it gets.

I also will be starting my BB internship next summer, but I’ve worked at a boutique for the last two years and have some insight. It’s really hard to prepare for everything on the job. My recommendation would be to just really understand the process well. For example, you can’t really practice due diligence unless you want to email documents back and forth and put them in folders. But if you can in really understand the process, for example, of a sell-side deal, then it’ll make your work more intuitive.

The other thing I would say is to reach out and network with people in the office. Try to develop some connections before you go out.
