GPA Rounding Question- Semi-Target Student

I usually write my GPA with two decimal points, but I was talking to a junior analyst at a top BB (think GS, MS, JPM) who told me its industry standard to round it to 1.

As this next semester finishes, it looks like my GPA is going to be 3.846. Is this fine to round up to 3.9, or could I get dinged for it?

I've seen online that you can round up to 0.09 depending on where your GPA falls, but doing anything more than 0.05 seems a little bit questionable to me. I know the difference between 3.846 and 3.9 isn't massive, but I'd like to put my best foot forward with recruiting.
