Grad school help!

Hey everyone. I’ve been contemplating my path after college. So for some background I’m from a non target with a 3.9 gpa graduating in December 2021. I intern for a small equity research Firm but have Been getting constant denials for summer 2021 internships. I have been toying with the idea of going to a target school for a graduate degree right after my undergrad so I can get looked at by BB firms. For some context, I’m shooting for investment banking/equity research. I have a few questions If y’all can answer for me I’d appreciate it.

  • would you not recommend to pursue grad right from undergrad?
  • would getting a CFA help me stand out rather than a grad degree?
  • should I be looking for MS or MBA degrees?
  • what timeline should I be looking at if I graduate in December 2021? I.e when should I take the GMAT and start applying?
  • is it not worth it unless I get into an Ivy League?

Thank you!
