Graduate Degree for Inv. Banking?

Hello

I will complete my bachelors degree in economics, finance, and int'l business from Oxford brookes University in UK. In other words, its major economics and minor finance, no business involved. I didnt learn much of finance to be honest but have learned hefty amounts of economics including, micro, macro, labour, environmental, econometrics etc...
I want to go into the investment banking sector and will be applying to universities in UK and Europe for graduate studies. Im looking at top 10 universities in europe of course but focusing on a finance degrees as the course structure they offer teaches about markets, assets, pricing, derivatives etc... which I dont know about yet.
However, reading other topics on this forum says economics is better for investment banking, is that only if you havent done it for bachelors? Im also looking into financial economics but only found two unis who offer it that I am not eager to go to being DUke uni and Oxford Uni.
So what do you recommend? I already have the economic background

Thank You

It makes very little difference in terms of your interview prospects whether you study Economics or Finance as they're relevant areas of study and involve quantitative subjects. As you already have a strong grounding in Economics I'd choose a Masters in Finance or Accounting and Finance. Personally if I was you (and had the grades to be admitted) I'd look at Imperial as my main choice. In London, incredibly strong alumni network and their masters don't require the GMAT. If you have done the GMAT, the LSE is also an obvious choice but will be more competitive to get into, same goes for the Masters in Financial Economics in Oxford. Warwick is also an obvious candidate but not being in the London and the not having the same repuation as the likes of Imperial is a bit of disadvantage. Being in a school in London offers the massive advantage of being able to reach out to alums and meet in person rather than set up a phone call where it's harder to create a personal connection.

When you say you want to go into the "Investment Banking Sector" do you mean an actual IB division or a different division which is part of an IB such as Sales & Trading?

Sorry for the super late response, I don't mind any role in IBD, IB or sales, even research roles, PE, VC. I will be doing an MsC in Finance at Esade Business School, didn't get in the london ones. Do you recommend I aim for US firms or which country based on ESADE? It's ranked second worldwide by FT for MsC in Fin.

Thank you
