Graduated College and Lost
I graduated from a non target with a 3.4 GPA majoring in finance. After working as a temp MO job i found the work rather boring and mind numbing. I recently received a full time job offer at another company for a role that is similar to the role i have now. Since i been having a hard time getting any offers for probably roles i thought it wouldn't hurt to interview given that the job pays more and i get all the benefits of a permanent employee. I currently accepted the offer and am going though a background test that i know i will pass. But my heart is not in it and now i'm thinking about not taking the offer and continuing trying to get a FO role. Given that i don't have 3.5 GPA and didn't go to a target school and have no FO experience. Is it realistic to ever land a FO role. I took a WSP course in financial modeling if that helps. Also by pulling out last min on that full time offer i will probably burn bridges with the recruiter that got me that interview.
Just do your time and prepare yourself for MBA business schools">M7 MBA (assuming you can do well on the tests and get other high quality work experience).
