Grants vs Rosenberg vs Stockman’s Contra
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone here is subscribed to Grant’s Interest Rate Observer, Rosenberg Research or Stockman’s Contra Corner? If anyone is, I’d like to hear your thoughts on the primary differences between each subscription and how your experience has been with either subscription this far.
Thank you
Grant's Interest Rate Observer – use to subscribe at a previous fund. Grant is the best a getting 100 year trends correct that you’ll never see in your life (nor trade on). Very well written and thoughtful, but I find the free daily a much better use of my time. Never got a trade out of him nor really helped me with my book. His stock analysis is always pedestrian, though I did like his high level market insights.
Rosenberg Research – the next crisis is just around the corner, he called 2008 correct but has missed every rally in existence because the sun doesn’t shine where Rosenberg lives. Unless he moved on, he seemed to reside in a perpetual dark dreaded land of urban decay. Subscribed ages ago, got bored of him always calling for the end of the world on a daily basis.
Stockman's Contra Corner - Never used this product; but appears more political.
Welling – like the first two in that its very high level, but it’s a cornucopia of interviews w/ ppl on the street in various jobs. An interesting read, but also limited on actionable ideas and more geared to the bigger picture.
