Grass is Always Greener...

I wanted to point out that we always tend to adopt the grass is always greener mentality subconsciously as humans. More often than not, it never really is. Jumping from one shop to another which I had envisioned to be a brighter pasture as an intern, I began to think my life was better at the previous shop when really nothing was that different.

I'd love to hear others thoughts on this because it can be related to almost everything in life (cities, schools, chicks, you get the point). I don't necessarily think its a dangerous mentality to adopt because sometimes it can be good, but certainly I think its a mentality you need to be aware of and how most times its just our subconscious mind working to idolize something more than it is
