Hey all, Stuckinaccounting123 here, I'm a tax intern at a Big 4 firm. I'm looking to break into MBB, or quite possibly IB. For now, I want to stick to MBB. I don't attend a target school, but I do have a strong GPA (3.8). I'm here for guidance and advice, and from what I have seen so far, you all are a supportive community!

Well, I've been sitting on this idea for about two weeks now. Since then, I've been researching. Let's just say I haven't had any idea of what this field really was until then. I was acutally on the train and I left my badge hanging on my waist, and I noticed an older, sophistacated guy looking at it. I thought he might have been a partner at my firm, becuase he seemed to have recognized the badge. So I told him, "I'm going to take a stab in the dark here, are you audit or tax?" Turns out he was in IB, in "sales".

Have you gone after it? Really ...

Seems like you're just sitting on an idea, letting in grow, without working towards achieving it. Take that for support.
