Growth Equity Guide
Has anyone tried out this guide? Is it worth the money?
Other than that, is there any view of what the most effective guide for GE prep is?

Would appreciate any help!

What position are you interviewing for? Analyst? Associate? and what types of growth equity firms (early stage or later stage) ? Asking because I can provide color to the former of both with recently going through recruiting at multiple earlier stage growth equity firms
Also curious about this guide applied for Intern roles at 3 shops. 2 invest at the Series A/B stage and 1 across all stages up, writing tickets for between 1-50m. do you know what kind of models will come up or the type of technical tests.
Through my experience, there was little to no modeling on any internship interviews (at early stage growth shops). I don't think they expected you to know any modeling as it will be taught on the job. However, there's a larger emphasis on how you think about industries, companies, etc... (and where your interests are). They'll for sure ask you about companies you think could be potential investments, how you think about their portfolio companies (good and bad ones), and industries that you are interested in/see plenty of opportunity. They might also ask you basic questions about what retention is (the three types are -> gross, net, logo, and what the ideal metrics are for each 90%,100%, 90%).
Also don't be surprised if they have you do a mock call with the interviewer pretending they are ceo of a company to see how you communicate, the types of questions you ask (this is a common question asked in interviews), and how you evaluate the company after the conversation.
Thank you!
This is for senior analyst/associate role and it's a larger platform that does series C, D and onwards

If you're recruiting for associate level, you will absolutely get a model case study.
