GS Finance V.S. Unilever Finance MA
Which one offers me more exit opportunity? Which one will you choose? Unilever offers slightly higher pay.

It depends on what you enjoy doing and what type of industry you prefer. Finance GS will mainly prepare you for finance roles and CFO path in financial services/fintech type of firms, while Unilever gives you more exit options imo (FMCG, Retail etc.). I also personally think that if you are to work in FP&A/Corp Fin, it's probably more interesting to do it in companies like Unilever because you are more involved in the financial decisions of the firm. That being said, I would definitely go with Unilever, unless you see yourself remaining in financial services in Finance.
Hey thanks for the reply! What if the GS finance program includes FP&A and strategy teams? I can most probably transfer internally to the corporate strategy team after a few years. Will the exposure of FP&A at Unilever be better? Thank you and I really appreciate your input!
The strategy rotation is definitely appealing, but, arguably, you can also network your way into Unilever's corp strat team. Further, this is just a hunch, but I think GS will prefer to take ex bankers or consultant into the corp strat team, rather than guys from FP&A.
I think that the experience at Unilever will be way more interesting and engaging. Depending on the culture, it might also be easier to make an internal move at Unilever than GS. But you have to think about your end goal - is it an executive position in a fin. serv. firm? Because if the answer to that is yes, then GS is the obvious option.
edit: sorry for replying to the wrong comment
Are these both rotational programs?
Yes! But the rotation will be within the Finance function (across controller, tax, reporting and etc).
