GS Global Markets vs MS Houston IBD

I am a lowly intern, so I really no do not have an informed decision but hypothetically, would it be stupid to take MS Houston over GS GM NY. I assume exit ops, continued deal flow, etc. are better for NY, but Houston is actual IB.

MS IBD in Houston will have much better exits than GS markets.

2 things

  1. The MS brand will help to break out of energy. At the very least, will open up doors laterally.
  2. 0% chance you get into PE coming out of GS global markets, energy or otherwise.

One is IBD one is GM. Take IBD. Pick the work you want over brand/location, especially since it's just a summer. Unless you really want NY for a reason.
