GS interview timeline confusion
Had a second round with GS almost 2 weeks ago for a Credit Risk position, which consisted of three back to back interviews over the phone. I thought it went well - my only concern is that when scheduling the interview, I was asked to provide my onsite availability between April 20 and 26 in the event I moved forward in the process. I haven't heard anything further even after following up with both the recruiter and the hiring manager - radio silence so far.
Has anyone here had a similar experience? Just wondering if anyone has insight into what might be going on or whether I might have just not made the cut. The position is still up online and there hasn't been a change in my online application status. Still hoping I hear something one way or another but wanted to get your thoughts as well.
Thanks.
The words "in the event you move forward" and the fact that the timeframe has passed probably means you did not move forward.
I would read it as no-go. Keep applying.
I'd like to think I'm still in the running but you guys might be right. I've also heard that CRMA is going through a lot of transition/reorganization right now - could that have anything to do with this?
Just learn from it, move on, and focus on the next opportunities. Sitting around wondering if they will ever call you isn't going to help with anything
It definitely could. It could be a variety of things. Ultimately, never stop applying until you have a written offer. Your are gaining traction, so keep throwing them out there.
Still no update or response from them and it's kind of driving me crazy. I know it's never good to put your eggs in one basket but this kind of opportunity doesn't come around too often for someone like me.
Is this unusual after you've had 2 rounds of interviews? Does anyone have any other insight into the process and how off-cycle hiring works at GS?
dude you really need to move on
I would say move on. Keep applying GS is not the end all.
