GS vs MS vs Citi vs BofA vs Barclays
If you were choosing a place to intern summer 2015 and hopefully start full time fall 2016, what you be your preference? I understand GS and MS are probably the two best.

The Goldman Sachs because it is the Goldman Sachs. I want to work for the Goldman Sachs.
NY?
Yes
If I had to choose, it would be a tie between Citi and MS strictly because I want to join a particular industry group. That being said, the decision to choose which bank will vary from person to person since everyone has different goals.
What industry group are you interested in at Citi and MS?
Can confirm. Dude, just get me a job at The Goldman Sachs.
What division are you trying to get into? This plays a major role in your decision. But in all reality, you take any of those if the opportunity presents itself.
GS or MS. I am sure both firms could give you incredible experience, so it would go down to the firm's culture. Personally, I like MS better because there is more alum, but it is just my case.
Barclays! It's British, Pays well, well know internationally, football, and I like their colors.
The clear answer here is GS or MS, unless they give you a position in public finance or something just as bad.
Hey now haha
lol
Yeah, not sure why the last two are in the conversation, unless the culture is absolutely incredible, and there are MD's ready to go to bat for you in three years

Anyone who's trying to act like there is a clear cut answer without getting more information from you is ignorant. Your choice of firm largely depends on the division or industry/product group you're interested in. To say GS or MS is better across the board would simply be false. It all depends.
Well I know BAML is a generalist internship, and to my knowledge MS and GS are group specific, so you could always take that into consideration. Not too familiar with Citi or Barclays, although my friend is interning in the Barclays Chicago office and I believe its a generalist program, but I could be wrong. Not sure if that holds true for the NY office, which is where I'm assuming these offers are for.
Just food for thought. These are all great offers, so choose the one where you will be placed into a group(or generalist program) of your interest. There is always next fall for FT recruiting if you change your mind.
