Hajj/Month Long Vacation

I haven't been able to find anything online about this especially when it comes to jobs in Finance so I appreciate any insight or advice anyone can offer.

I'll be starting full-time PE out of undergrad in 2022. I have the chance to start in February (because I'm graduating this coming December) or August. My original plan was to start in August and spend time traveling and then doing Hajj. However, my family recently came into some financial trouble which makes me want to start sooner to start supporting them.

For those that may not know, Hajj is a mandatory pilgrimage that all Muslims are required to take once in their life. In 2022, it'll be occurring in June/July. The entire trip is about 22 days long.

My predicament is this, can I start in February and take 25 days off in the Summer? If so, how do I ask for that? Or should I just wait until August to start as it may impact my reputation to start and ask for that many days off.

The reason I wrote "Month Long Vacation" in the title is because, I don't think my employer will know or care that Hajj isn't a vacation. All they know is I'm taking 20+ days off. If anyone has been able to take a month long vacation during their first six months, which I highly doubt, I would appreciate knowing how you asked for this. Also, I have no problem not being paid for it but I don't know if this is an option.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Coming from a muslim, I wouldn't take off 3 weeks in your first year for hajj. Definitely not a good look.ย

I personally don't mind putting Hajj off for a bit. Just wanted to know if it was possible to do. But I appreciate your advice, was leaning that way.
