Hardest you've worked for that 30 seconds?
I am reminded of how hard we work for that 30 seconds through the other thread about 'hardest you've worked for a position.'
Life is really about that 30 seconds. How hard have you worked to chase a girl or guy just to orgasm, for that moment of conception. I mean all that time in the gym, shopping, dinner, the time spent for the wedding and then consummating the marriage.
How much time is spent in preparation versus the actual climatic point of the activity?
A lot versus not much.
We have been doing this since the beginning of time. Animals live and die by that 30 seconds. A cheetah hits peak speed for the kill in that period, and the Cosmopolitan Sailfish does the same in the ocean.
I am driving this week and putting a lot of effort into qualifying for (done) and training for a national snowboard (boardercross) race. But, really it will all come down to my first heat. That first 30 seconds.
The same is with MMA training; all those hard days, hundreds and thousands of hours of technical training, likely to be determined in competition in mere minutes. A knockout is possible in 30 seconds.
So how hard do you work for that 30 seconds?
