Harvard Extension vs. European Masters

Hi all!

I have been reading up on the Harvard Extension School and found out that a graduate level degree from there is somewhat looked down upon, as it signals that the candidate couldn’t get into the “real” Harvard. I am wondering how an online degree from HES would compare against an equivalent on-campus masters from one of those tuition-free European univiersities. Any thoughts? If you had a choice, which one would you pick and why?

European unis such as the ones in Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and so on. The ones I’ve been looking into are tuition-free with open enrollment.

HES is open enrollment too, except it’s not for free. So I am just trying to decide which would be a better option in terms of employability and prospects.

Stay away from HES, it will not do a single thing for you and will only make you look like a clown if you include it on your linkedin/resume. Go do something real
