Has moving to PE just become a lot more difficult?

I Just read this article on Efin....

What I am thinking... more experience M&A people looking for a new job in either M&A, private equity or similar.

Do you agree that the competion for private equity jobs in London has become a lot for difficult?

Last year a recruiter told me they get 300 applications per job... I guess this number just increased.
