I'm also an Aus student so hardly an expert, however, the 2+2 program is commonly viewed to be, as others have said, targeted at those who aren't traditional b-school candidates. I.e. Not finance.

Does it hurt to apply though? Probabaly not. Good luck, I wish my credentials where nearly that impressive.

Edit: Unless you are planning to work in the US i don't think a harvard MBA would be worth the cost.
