HBS Online Certificates

Hello all,I have been working in CRE brokerage for just under a year and am currently looking at exit opps. I work in a secondary market and don't see myself staying in this market or with this company long term. Ideally I would like to land a gig at Eastdil as I often find myself reading about the deals they do, however, I am slowly doing more research on the REIB sector and am interested in that as well. I went to a non-target so I have also been doing many online courses (REFM, Argus eLearning, Break into CRE) to try and boost my resume.My question is, is it worth my time to get a certificate from an elite school to help boost my resume? HBS Online offers a 5 week course in alternative investments, but I am unsure if that would be worth the time/ money to put into it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think those online classes at elite universities are worth it only if you'll also have some access to the broader school network. Ex. I think NYU Schack's Masters program has an online course but it also gives you access to their in-person events (pre-covid) such as speaker events, networking, etc. So it's beneficial because you can meet a bunch of people in the industry. Idk if HBS's course gets you access to HBS events but if it doesn't, I personally don't think it's worth it. Hope this helps, good luck!
