It's a completely different comp structure. The Group Head has a much higher base so he can basically suck at life for a good 2 years, make at least 1M until he gets canned. As stated above, prop trader has a lower base and alot more pressure because if he has a couple suck weeks, one day his I.D. won't let him get to the elevators.

Then again, the biggest earner is probably the guy who is both (I've seen it happen).
