Yes it is.
HEC vs ESSEC? What would you pick?
HEC without any hesitation. ESSEC got worse placement than HEC, located in a shithole, 2 years master and lack hardos.
Yes, look at my 20 most frequently asked questions thread. I cover a lot on it.
thank you
Yes. The only better programmes for working in IB in London are Oxford MFE, LBS MFin and LSE's top degrees (MFin, MSc Finance & PE, MSc in Finance & Econ). HEC will open any door you can think of. You won't be able to work in France if you're not native though so you're right to focus on London
But do you think I'll be able to network effectively enough to land a IB job living in France?
Networking is pretty useless in Europe (if not totally).
Reading this might shed some more light (the article was featured last night btw.) The answer is YES, it is possible to land London IB gig out of HEC Paris.

Thank you!
Is this another thread of yours?

ah yes it is!
Then out of schools you mentioned I'd consider only LSE and HEC.
Visit PanEuropean's monkey post that he linked in the one of the comments above. He discusses European schools in great detail.
