HEC vs. LBS for MIM

I'm trying to decide between HEC and LBS for a masters in management, but I'm having an extremely difficult time. I am slightly more interested in LBS since it is only a 1 year program. However, I have started to see conflicting opinions regarding the actual quality of LBS for management. I've read quite a bit of stuff that stated the curriculum is atrocious and HEC's Grande Ecole blows LBS out of the water when it comes to overall quality and placement. If HEC is truly that much better, then I guess it's worth the extra year.

I would love to hear what you guys think about the two schools and the pros/cons of the programs.

As usual, just be careful about where you want to work afterwards. If your french is not perfect (native speaker), getting a job in Paris is going to be tough... It's true that LBS and HEC are both top-tier schools, but LBS is probably more highly regarded in other european countries than France, so in this perspective HEC may not be the best choice...
