Hedge Fund Opportunity

Hey Guys
I have an offer in a start up Hedge Fund in Boston. I would be the number 2 in the fund and it seems like a great opportunity. However I was wondering what I should look for to see if this Hedge Fund will actaully prosper. Also any red flags that I should look for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No No I appreciate the advice and not offended at all. I have zero HF experience to be honest. I am graduating in May and have summer internship experience at an IB boutique and a big 4 accounting firm. I worked under the HF manager with 5 other interns at the IB Boutique and he thought that I was the best and wanted to bring me on. That why i was asking the question because I found it odd as well that I was being brought on as #2. I thought it was wierd and wanted to know what I should be looking for to see if this HF was legit. So again any advice is greatly appreciated

Your coming out of college with zero HF experience, you should be looking of the million different ways your gonna get screwed. Whether responsibility or financially, something sounds weird in all this.
