Hi I am looking for advice on landing a Management consulting job.
I have a non traditional career and education path so I know this will be a little tricky.
I am 31 and currently work as a portfolio/project IT manager for a big 4 firm. Ive been a PM in IT, Real Estate and operations with combined 6 years exp. Before that I was actually a Firefighter.
I attended a small catholic university for undergrad and currently pursuing a MBA at Emory with a concentration in finance. I m attending the part time modular program.
I will not be able to attend on campus recruiting do to not being able to make all required activities. I will have to go the exp higher route. Little worried about this. Any advice and or tips are greatly appreciated. Target Firms, type of positions, career path, possibility, ect....
Thanks in advance
