Help me choose: Top tier BB quant research role in a market making desk in NY, or a HF analyst at 1BB AU in Hong Kong?

The BB quant research role is for a etf market making desk at a top bank, I just worry that big bank roles are very stuctured and I will not have much front-line exposure in trading/ generating alpha. The team has 5 traders and 4 quants, so I think work can be segregated. The work is more on optimizing pricing models, building hedging and dashboarding tools.

The HF analyst role is in a 5-6 people team led by 1 PM, it is on a strategy I currently have experience in. The role is more on quantitative side, automating models, buidling pipelines, generating alpha/ research/ideas along with PM.

Pay wise, HF is around 100k base and BB role 125 base, no idea how bonus works at either.

Overall my main concern is where I can learn more, what exit opportunities are there? I'm not sure if I want to develop into PM or market-making quant trading, and if going to HK will limit my chances in US later or vice versa?

Any feedbacks or thoughts appreciated.
