Help Needed! Fair Price Of Personal Investments

So I did a quick search for some clarification on this concept on here but couldn't really find anything to match it or anything that would answer my questions. Here's hoping this thread can answer similar questions for others and be a good learning resource

In a bull market like the one we are in right now, a lot of stocks have run up in price and I'm having a tough time figuring out a target buy price or even a fair value for a lot of my desired stocks. I generally tend to buy solid, blue chip companies like KO, PG, KMB, CLX, CL etc. I'm not looking for astronomical growth, I'm just looking to build a solid portfolio where I can reinvest dividends until they're significant enough for my retirement (40-50 years from now hopefully).

I did a google search and found Damodaran's blog and his spreadsheets but the area I'm running into trouble is figuring out the right spreadsheet to use and the right valuation method to use to value the aforementioned kind of companies. I don't have much of a financial background so I'm learning every day but I have some spare money right now and I'd like to figure out how I can invest it.

Would you anyone care to comment how they would value these companies? Any other resources apart from Damodaran? Or which spreadsheet and such I should use on Damodaran's blog?

Interested to hear what people have to say and even their personal investment philosophies if they are willing to share.
