Not sure why your moving from IBD to a client service role but...

Im guessing the majority of interview questions will be fit.

e.g: Tell us about your institutional client experience...

A knowledge of how asset management is executed from mid to back office...custody, clearing and fund accounting etc would probably be very beneficial as the majority of client contact will be when somethings wrong or might be wrong, and they need you to solve it.

Hi cmxxi,

Thanks for your reply.

Can you please specify more about "majority" of interview questions? for IBD or ST? what skill sets are they looking for?

thanks

No problem,

Well, as you don't have experience in asset management I assume that most questions will not be technical, company specific questions. I would guess that they are more focused on what experience you do have and how you feel that qualifies you for this position.

Questions on...teamwork, client interaction etc.... Questions on..."What would you do if a client wanted...." Maybe some general questions on macro economic trends.....to try and test some asset management knowledge.

I dont understand what you mean: "for IBD or ST? what skill sets are they looking for?"

This is not an IBD or S&T role.
