Help with marketing analyst consulting business
I have been working on my own to create a real estate financial analysis consulting business. Basically, trying to find clients (brokers, investors, entrepreneurs, etc.) who need help putting together financial models, offering memorandums, pitch decks, etc for their projects.
For all of you out there that would need a service like that, where would you look for someone that could do that? I am trying to find the best place to advertise (such as LinkedIn), but want to know how my target market would go about finding someone.
I know a few people that have done this. The best thing to do is target local developers that don't keep a full time analyst on staff. I know a girl that did this in Dallas and without actively marketing herself, just leveraging her existing relationships, was able to consistently get 20 hours of work per week. She did not want to take on more as she was wanting to spend more time with her young children. She was basically screening and doing prelim underwrites on deals they were chasing. If the deal penciled, she'd do a deeper dive. BOL.
