What sort of ‘arbitrage’ are you looking to find?

It’s an emerging market in the US, but not elsewhere (Canada, China).

I own land in the south and have been looking into industrial hemp cultivation/ processing.

the problem ( or opportunity) is that there is no infrastructure or supply chain in the US to take it from seeds to end consumers, in the literally 1000’s of applications (forget CBD, think bioplastics, paper, cotton and alternatives to other fibrous products).

Significant capex is necessary to build out the infrastructure, but trying to figure out where the gaps in the chain are is vital right now, as well as ‘selling’ it to mfg’s whom will have to alter their processes, so a lot of customer education.

On the bright side, I have been attending presentations, conventions etc and everyone is incredibly collaborative and interested in learning/helping one another. That level of collaboration is pivotal.

Dunno what state you’re in but see if you can find a business coalition/association around hemp
