Hey WSO, I need some advice/help

Hey everyone I am in need of some direction/help.

To tell you a little about myself, I am 21 years old and a senior at a regular state school. I have a double major in finance and supply chain management, and have worked hard to obtain a 3.9 GPA. Which I am definitely proud of, but it is not something that I like to brag about. I have worked a part time job at my University while being a full time student, and have stayed involved in extracurriculars. During the Summer of my sophomore year I studied abroad, and during the Summer of my junior year I did a supply chain internship with a large fortune 100 firm. While working the internship and later reflecting on it, I knew I did not have an interest in pursuing a career in supply chain, and I would try everything I could to establish a solid financial career out of college. Over the last year I have strived to earn a suitable job in Finance. I talked to every family friend I could, and then I began to cold email and cold call people. By now I have probably sent out over a hundred applications, conducted interviews at every stage, yet I have only received rejections. It was fine earlier on, I could shrug it off and continue, but now it's starting to crush me. I felt like I have tried so hard while in college to become the ideal candidate, just to get rejected, it feels like it all was for nothing. So I wanted to ask my fellow WSO monkeys what their advice is, am I missing something? What do you like to see in candidates that separates them from the pack? What can I work on to be able to break into IB, CO, TR.. etc?

I'm just looking for someone to take a chance on me, I know I can prove myself once I just break in.
