HF Comp at 2B fund
I know this question hinges on a lot of things but in general, what would you expect analyst comp to be at a 2-2.5B fund? Close to 20 total staff with about 10 making the investment decisions and the other 10 are compliance, back office, and IR.
bump
150 + 150, absent any other info

I started my career at a fund like this (same AUM and headcount) and got paid $300k, $450K, $550K my first 3 years after a year and a half of ER. After that I became % of P&L. Hope that helps
You mind if I PM you?
Sure
That's pretty solid!
Could I also PM you?
sure
Thanks 👍
For a fresh analyst or someone with experience. 150+150 seems low unless you're coming from banking or pe or another industry
150 + 150 first year is a very good comp, not sure what you're benchmarking to.
He’s saying that would be low for someone coming in with public markets experience, but accurate for someone’s first year from banking/PE, which I agree with
