My process was for an internship and I was also out of the country during the interview process, so it might be a little different. Regardless here was my experience:
First round interview: Video chat with VP of Client Relations (recruiter) & COO - Simple behavioral round. Main focus on why the firm and passion for investing.
Second and final round: Video chat with CEO (would be in-person) - Barely any technicals. He really just wants to know passion for investing and eagerness to learn.
The interview process was not very difficult nor did it seem selective. That was a slight red flag for me.
Pay was very low. Well below street. I would assume an entry level position would probably be around 50-60k. Yet, you also break into a HF out of school.

I've interviewed with Lapides. They seem like a nice group. Very research-focused - must visit every investment on-site. Specialize in small cap value
would you mind giving some more info about the process, pay, etc.? Thanks
