High Liberal Arts GPA No Quant
Hi All,
I have a High GPA from a state school in Liberal Arts (3.9), but not much in the way of a quantitative resume or background, and ended up getting a C in business math my final semester of school. I want to target top 5-7 schools, and I'm trying to understand the best options to boost my quant credibility. Currently working in Business Operations/IT and had decent EC's in school (President of Model UN), but need to beef up my after school volunteering and quant credibility.
Options:
Do well on GMAT quant section - is this enough to allay quant concerns of top schools?
Additional Pre-Application Courses i.e. Harvard Core HBX, UC Berkley Management Statistics
Addional Pre-Application Courses from Wall Street Prep
Which combination of these would you recommend? Is it worth it to put the time and effort into something like HBX Core or just spend a ton of time studying for the Quant GMAT section instead?
Target the top 5-7 schools for what? MSF? You need to be more specific.
Top 7 MBA programs.
you should be more worried about trying to get into the MBA business schools ">M7 with IT experience than your quant credentials
Crush the GMAT - a 49/50 q will alleviate any concerns about your quant abilities
