High School GPA for application

I'm currently in the second stage of an interview process, and the company is asking me to submit an application (resume was turned in by MD).On the application it asks for my high school GPA. I'm sure they wouldn't ask for it if they didn't want it, but do I really need to go back to my HS for a copy of my transcripts?

my high school gpa was around 1.9... deadly serious. the only reason i got into the colleges that i did was because of my dad. i have no idea what lie i will make up if i ever get asked for my high school gpa, because i sure as hell won't submit my transcript.

Which College did you attend?

So I went to my HS today and got my GPA. Definitely don't remembering it being as low as it was but I got a 3.0. Do companies take this into account when deciding to push you to the next round of interviews? I passed the initial fit interview, now it's time for second stage of the interview process.

Okay you need to double check this, but last I heard, high school transcripts were sealed for 20 some years after you graduate. Nobody can pull them up but you. At least in Massachusetts. Double check though.

Always retake the SAT if you can; I did (and they asked for it on every application and resume).
