High School Students - DO NOT PM ME!

I can not take another clueless high school asking for advice then question the advice I give. I dont care where your going to college. I did that too...... 5 years ago. You dont know much high school seniors and I hate to say too dumb or naive to know when someone is tossing you a bone. Enjoy prom, your ford mustang and senior week.

Please skip over me and move on to next person down on the banana board or whatever method you use to PM people.

Am I the only one who thought his post was sarcasm?
I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

This is more general, but here's my bit for high school and college students alike - stop PMing me questions and actually post on the forums. I'm much less inclined to write you a thoughtful response if I know you're the only one that's going to read it - I'd much rather post publicly so other monkeys can benefit as well. Also, it just generally makes you seem like you think you're more important than everyone else, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If you have an issue you think I might be able to help out with (due to my background, not just because you want an opinion from everyone on the SB leaderboard) - post a thread and PM me a link. Then I can share for everyone's benefit, not just you.

This times 100. And if for some reason things take a more private turn into areas that might be uncomfortable in the public forums, most of us are adept enough to pick up on this and would be happy to initiate the PM when deemed necessary.

Will obtaining a Series 7 help me break into investment banking? I'm also working on a finance certificate at a community college.

Just kidding =]

monty you have had a string of bad luck with regard to these kids... I'd love to be see you post the PM and your response to the next kid to do this... Cuz you know they aren't going to read this post anymore than they read the ones that actually answer the questions they are asking... Too funny tho.

You forgot to tell them to make sure they dump their girlfriend so they can enjoy a summer of freedom and to sign all their friends' yearbooks with "Hey call me sumtime this summa and we'll party fo sho! J Dawg 867 - 5309"

i dont understand why high school kids are already thinking about IB. I only thought about vag when I was in high school

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.
