Hirevue for Experienced Hire??? IBD/M&A

This one sort of threw me off guard.

2+ years experience going for a non-entry level position in M&A.

Was expecting a 1st round face to face, however, the Director I've been referred by informed me that HR have replaced 1st rounds (even for experienced hires) with HireVue video interview. They've confirmed that the interview process has remained otherwise unchanged except that the 1st round F2F has been replaced by HireVue.

Anyone know if the experienced hire HireVue's are different from Grad Schemes? If so, can they be technical at all, as I would've thought the answers are evaluated by HR/HireVue rather than practitioners. Can the fit/motivation questions be harder than Grad Scheme HireVue's? What should I expect?

-Thanks in advance!
