Hiring Acquisitions Analyst - REIT
The REIT I work at (Gladstone Commercial, NASDAQ: GOOD) is hiring for an acquisitions analyst at our DC office. Feel free to PM me your resume if you are interested. The candidate needs to have at lease 1-2 years experience, preferably in RE but willing to consider other candidates as well.
Yo I am just finishing up my MSF and been working in RE since October. Hire a bro, bro. I saw that listing and it said 2-3 years IB/PE or REPE experience and was like wtf....
this is probably the best way to get your resume thrown into the no pile. have you seen mr. re bootcamp's posts? this guy is legit, he's not going to hire some yo yo bro bro guy
doctorsutton glad to see you have a sense of humor, bro.
Great job for someone in brokerage, Asset Management, or lending looking to break into acquisitions. Great work life balance, good benefits, will get lots of responsibilities.
Sounds awesome man I just don't want to live in Virginia unfortunately. Good luck on your search though
Do you mind if I ask what your Acquisition Analysts or Associates bonus is on the deals they close? I'm in a different city but I'm considering transitioning to a similar role over here. So this is informational only (Private Message me if you're more comfortable that way)
At the junior level, your bonus is a % of your salary and is not based on the size or number of deals. Obviously, if the firm closes more deals and performs better, the bonus will be better. At almost every shop, junior employees get a "fixed" percent. Once you get to a deal making level does that switch.
Thanks for the response RE Bootcamp. Since 2015 I underwrote 23 properties portfolio that we closed on and now i'm the Asset Manager for it. My next step is as a deal position (what I refer as an Acquisitions Associate). I'm trying to better understand what is the % bonus the deal making position makes on the deals they close. I appreciate your responses as i gain more knowledge of how the industry works.
Curious in this however I only have 2 years of internship experience at a Top 10 commercial bank. Also help manage my families multi family properties in New York as well as help my uncle develop custom residential homes when I am not at school or working.
Not sure if I qualify....
