Hotel investments European MBA vs American

Dear all,

So born and raised in a third world country (Middle East) family owns a restaurant franchise across 5 countries around 13 locations. I ended up deciding to go to Switzerland for my undergrad top 3 hospitality schools, fast forward after graduation went to work for the family got immediately put as head of Finance and Buisness development (Middle eastern thing). My research and presentation were never read, did two collaborations researches one with a local school and one with an MBA class from Stanford. The CEO is set on his own vision, models and research out the window the family lost a bunch of money I called quits.

(Trying to set up a board so I have minimum involvement with day to day operations and still represent my shares)

Anyway I figured I wasn't doing anything so completed an asset management certificate with Cornell and now finishing my Corporate finance certificate from Harvards extension school.

My only other option was Finance (by choice) so I did a couple of internships, investment bank and big 4 audit. Currently in Europe and starting a long term internship at Hospitality M&A shop ( underwriters ) boss promised a job post internship.

My options are:

1) Intern and continue on working for a year and then go to an MBA (HBS-GSB-CBS) in the USA with the hopes of breaking into IB or Hospitality PE post MBA.

2)Finish my internship and do a European MBA (HEC-Insead-LBS) hoping to break into JLL or similar, I have a feeling MBA's are not taken into consideration in Europe.

Sorry if I took you all around the place its just that im trying to put everything on the table.

Im 27 btw.

Thank you for your time
