Is this a serious question? Chicago hands down. I mean, i don't see how this is even a fair comparison. Boston is awful when it comes to women. In my opinion, Chicago has the hottest girls in the country, after L.A.
Are you kidding me Brady?? Chicago before places like New York, Miami, Austin, Dallas, etc? Not to mention college towns like Tempe. You are crazy dude (but I think we already knew that).

Woah, easy there buddy. No idea why you're overreacting to this post. Does your pussy hurt or something?

I wasn't including college towns since it's not an apple-apple comparison. But yes, i prefer chicago women over NYC, Miami, and the others. I have not yet been to dallas, so i'm going to reserve my judgment on that.

Right on!

I lived in Boston for 8 years, the women are hideous and haughty, a vicious combo. I've lived in Chicago for 2 years since and continue to be blown away by the difference - the girls here are twice as good looking, don't have eating disorders, and will actually show genuine interest in the male race.

These cities are on two opposite ends of the spectrum. And no, LA girls are not so great.

Can you please elaborate?

Last time I was in Chicago there were a bunch of sporty blondes playing coed softball at Lincoln Park and volleyball by the lakefront; the Big 10 ride-on-top types that Brady was referring to...

Last trip to Boston was spent in a few pubs, so I didn't get a good feel for the scene. Can you get more specific about Boston girls? Are they more of the pseudo-intellectual variety, pretending to be indie and artsy and fair trade oriented while their dad manages a multi-bil hedge fund? Or are they more the plain jane, 2 months before a kiss type?

Thanks Monkeys, just trying to sort out who i'll be coming home to in 5-10 years!

Chicago for sure, but New York is by far the best.

LA > NY

i got into an extremely heated, alcohol-fuled debate with my buddies about this. a copule of them were convinced that NY had hotter girls than LA. normally i'm a "to each their own" kind of guy... but this was just preposterous. LA all the way baby.

Money Never Sleeps? More like Money Never SUCKS amirite?!?!?!?

I grew up in LA but work in NYC. NYC girls are definitely better dressed and more fashionable while LA girls has more of a natural, laid back quality. The fake tan thing is actually quite uncommon as the weather there is good enough to get a real tan almost all year long. If you like the more ambitious and independent types, go with NYC girls. Otherwise, LA girls.

Gladly Tommy, gladly.

There are basically three types of women in Boston:

  1. The intellectual. She might be a lesbian, she might not, regardless the male race is a waste of her time (or so she thinks) and trust me you want nothing to do with her. Definitely don't waste any of your time trying to figure out her or her friends - unless you're a dork at heart, you will be disappointed.

  2. The "fun" girl. Boston's fun girls live in Southie and aren't the fun type of girl that you want to date, but more the fun girl who is like one of the guys. She loves her "bah" (beer) the "sawx" (red sox) and is obnoxious about her loyalty to her sporting teams. You would never strike a woman, but this girl will challenge do her best to challenge your chivalry and for anyone not from Boston, you won't be able to stand her beyond the initial shock factor amusement.

  3. The middle-upper class / upper class girl. She is invariably holding out for a flashy rich dude (very rich) to pick her up. This is the girl who initially looks like the type of girl you'd date, until you realize she has a huge stick up her ass and is an emotional wreck... She has an eating disorder and will likely have a middle life crisis when she turns 30 and is single (this is not an exaggeration unfortunately, but sadly very common).

What Boston's lacking, and IMO the crux of it's problem is that outsider's find it such a hostile place to live. The majority of the talent I come across in Chicago and NY isn't from the farm system, it's free agents choosing to live there. Top free agent talent gets the jobs in these cities. Boston educates them and then spits them out (i went to college in Boston and maybe 5% of my close classmates are still there).

Chicago, like NY, has much more diversity in its women. Generally the women in both cities are significantly more attractive than those in Boston, obviously, but in my view NY has a higher concentration of pyscho career chicks who run marathons like crazy and generally live the fast life, while Chicago girls are less career driven (while still adequately ambitions) and more likely to want to settle down with a guy at a younger age (the stats bear this out). In general though, both cities have tons of good looking girls (and without eating disorders!) across a range of personalities, interests, and ethnicity's. I favor Chicago because i find girls here are more confident (smaller pond effect maybe), more fun (cost of living is much lower), and more forthright about the fact that they are looking for a guy... when i first moved here i couldn't believe how many girls were approaching me who would have given me once glance in Boston and shoo-ed me off....

+1

The reality is that every major city is going to have girls of all types. I've spent a ton of time in Boston and a fair amount of time in Chicago --- they're both great. If you are an average guy you will do well in both. Chicago is teeming with hot, down to earth girls, but so is Boston.

I'm from Boston and I have to say Chicago. Being a larger city and having almost 4x the population helps.

I feel that Chicago has more diverse talent as well. Boston is diverse in its college pop but becomes more traditional and white as one gets older. as someone pointed out a lot of people come to Boston for an education and then leave.

I'm a girl, I live in Boston. Boston girls are too "fuck it, I don't give a shit" to purposefully look pretty. And it's not necessarily the best place to find girls who work in stereotypically "hot" industries like entertainment and PR. If anything, Boston is full of nerdy girls and sporty girls and hipster girls. Maybe if that's your type. Lots of type A's as well so I guess if you like a girl with a strong personality?

That said, I don't think Chicago has hot chicks either. NYC is hit or miss; too diverse to lump everyone together. I'm going to vouch for the hot Austin girls. No idea what you mean by hot girls in Dallas because there aren't any :p

Lol what. Dallas has crazy talent. Well over half the girls out any night in Uptown are attractive. Dallas beats the shit out of just about every city in the country. Chicago has hot women too, although it's not quite Dallas.

I disagree STRONGLY that chicago does not have hot chicks. Maybe you visited during the winter when it's ten below zero, and everyone is covered up in thick coats. The summertime in chicago is crazy when all the girls let loose after months of hibernation, ready to show off their tanned athletic bodies. On a per capita basis Chicago has better talent than any U.S. city except los angeles, miami, maybe dallas.

I also haven't spent too much time in Chi-town, so maybe another few visits will change my mind ;)
