How Can I Help My Resume While Traveling Abroad?

Hello all,

It's been quite a while since my last time on the forums and quite a bit has changed. Fortunately, I still find myself very interested in business - finance particularly. I'm currently rounding up my second semester as a sophomore in college and have planned to take off next year in its entirety to travel abroad. My question to you resourceful monkeys is what should I be keen on engaging in during my travels so that I may have something that will reflect positively, favorably, and hopefully business-related for my resume? I know it would be foolish indeed to take this time off and come back empty handed (naturally I will have benefited in countless ways which is why I am traveling but I mean in a more tangible sense).

I apologize if this is not the right section. I was having a hard time finding one that fit.
