How can we push the reset button on life?

I need a time machine so I can go to where I fell of the wagon and became a lazy slug. I haven't touched a weight in months I also want to fix my career and all the dumb decissions I've made.

If I went back in time though, I wouldn't exist and I wouldn't value what I had. How can we be grateful for our life not being a bad way, when we never knew that the bad way existed?

You sound a bit depressed, like a lot of other people these days. I made a post a while back about starting life over, and a lot of people said they wouldn’t do it. Be grateful for the things you do have. Think about all the things that you can control and get get a hold over them (weights, good health, some aspects of your career, etc...) the things that you can’t control, figure out how to deal with them and find compromises. What is it specifically that’s got you down?

Marcus Aurelius would tell you, Love nothing but that which comes to you woven in the pattern of your destiny. For what could more aptly fit your needs?

If you're committed to change, get down on the ground and start pumping out situps, pushups. If you want it - take it. Start now. Keep the momentum. Do the best that you can do everyday and your life will begin to form around you rather than you around life.

Also, plan on running as soon as you can. Run your heart out and your life will start to take shape. If you really want a reset button on your career life, its a T10 MBA.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Running is so fun. I fell of the wagon from working out 5 days a week to 1-2 every 2 weeks.
