How did you figure out what sector of finance you wanna go into?

I’m currently final year undergrad student and I’m lost as to which field of finance I wanna pursue as well as the likelihood of me getting in the field.

Background.
- UC Davis Math Econ major
- 12 months at RE firm during pandemic (Proformas, drafting deals, leasing)
- Summer intern at small investment firm (Got my S7 S63 there, book keeping, walking clients through investments that we offered)

I really enjoy the technical aspects of investing (Wanted to go to quant but going to non target afraid won’t be able to get in).

Looking for advice or direction.
Anything really helps. Thanks!
