How do I avoid toxic alumni?

Non-US guy here, so I guess there's no need for a throwaway to ask this question.

TL;DR: How do I graciously avoid shitty alumni?

One of our small target school alumni (in U.S. terms, think an Amherst-sized Columbia)
in a Tier 2 (former banker) is a douche with small substance.
He comes to networking events on school, unsuccessfully hits on girls,
gives unsolicited advice, gives shit to somewhat clueless kids,
generally reaches out to kids to fill his ego. I hope you get the idea.

The problem is, the banking/consulting/professional services area of my region/country is small,
and I don't want to burn bridges, but this guy sometimes calls me up and demands that I catch up with him.

That's not bad, we're both guys, we can drink and shoot the shit and talk bullshit,
but this recently married asshole keeps on telling me to bring girls when I "network" with him.

I don't need an internship from him, I already had more than enough internships, have other people to network with, and am joining the armed forces (OCS) after graduation for a 3-year service.

How the fuck do I avoid him while making him think that I'm not avoiding him?
