How do you ask for the financial statements of a private company?
I work for a small firm in Europe (about 30-40 full time employees). I have been recently curious about asking to see the financial statements because I took a class on financial markets. I was wondering if any of you have experience asking your CEO or someone in the company for these documents? I just want to make sure that the company is healthy and has sufficient liquidity right now. I appreciate any advise on how to approach this, without being .. weird or indiscreet. Thanks!
Edit: I'm a marketing coordinator and can talk quite nicely with the CEO. I would simply like to know if you have ever done something like this and if they took it in a bad way
To be honest, I can't imagine it going over well if an intern/jr employee asks a President for financial statements, just so you can gauge their safety based on what you learned in Finance 101.
If a company doesn't make these readily available, the odds are they aren't just willing to share them.
Just my two cents.
Ut inventore similique quia pariatur. In placeat cum in velit. Necessitatibus ut nobis est recusandae molestiae animi.
Architecto ipsa repellat est quia architecto esse velit. Atque ut perspiciatis quasi ut tempore aut.
