AT Kearney's situation and future

I would like to gain perspective on everyone's thought on AT Kearney. As a solid Tier 2, ATK clearly has a lot of reputations in ops related projects. But they also clearly missed their original "Vision 2020" goal and lost lots of partners to others. As consulting industry is moving to embrace digitization, AI/ML and focus more and more on future ecosystem, how is ATK positioned in this battle? What is their future look like? Thanks

Seriously it's so sad to see people base their career choices on what they percieve their chances of admission at b-school. Especially given that they have no idea why they need to go to bschool other than they think that they're supposed to. You can get into any bschool, including HBS and Stanford, if you were in the peacecore, a teacher, big 4, any consulting job, F500, military etc. It's about what you did at that job not the name of the company that will be important.

It really depends on how you think about and pitch yourself. An impressive essay and action plan may set you apart from other candidate. As you know, any of those schools would prefer a combination of backgrounds. So if you believe you are ready, shoot for it.

PS: I know 2 people who get Stanford and HBS at ATKearney.
