How do you rebuild confidence and recharge going through the draining recruiting process?
I have been interviewing for a month now, but didn’t get my dream offers. I did get a few offers but they are not investment banking positions, close to IBD but not traditional IBD (think of bond structuring roles and corporate advisory on M&A)
I decided to turn down those offer and continue to interview, as I really want a traditional IB role even if it was a smaller investment bank.
Throughout the recruiting process I gradually lost confidence, and started to doubting myself, although I’m trying very hard to brainwash myself that I can do it, but I don’t know when will I actually land an offer…. How did you guys rebuild yourself going through this cycle?
Any advice is much appreciated!
