I know their ibanking operations are relatively new in North America, and so I was thinking about mentioning the employees' secondary mission of growing and strengthening its North American operations. On the other hand, I wasn't sure if that was a sore spot for the firm (new kid on the playground type of thing)
I'm not looking for answers, just a place to start researching...I've been pouring over vault guides and wsj articles and it seems like all the banks talk about their unique approach to talent acquisition focused on culture and technical skills. They all claim to be masters of everything.
I forgot what I put for that question but I got to a final round with them so I guess I did alright (accepted offer from another bank). If I recall the biggest help was their website, I think there's a page that addresses that directly.
They bash nyu students instead of columbia students at their pre-superday dinners.
Also, judging by what I wrote on those essays, I seriously doubt that they actually read them.

They make all employees speak in a British accent.

Well Barclays US is mostly ex-Lehman, so I wouldn't call their US operations new...
