How does the referral system at BofA work?

The question is in the title. I have heard the way it works is that the staffer from each group will ask the group for names of people BofA should interview. Can someone confirm if that's the way it works?

Staffers are much more important for group placement. As above person said, campus teams are much more involved in getting the initial offer.

I am sure staffers have a say in recruitment but I would focus on your school team if you have one. Plus all the staffers are super busy running the internship program right now so I wouldn’t expect too many responses.

From semitarget with no school recruiting team for BofA. Staffers are important for the group placement process but as for general referrals I think anyone can make them and obviously the more senior the person the better. Referrals can probably land you a Hirevue but from there its likely up to you to earn a Superday for the most part.
